HOPPING MAD

|
The author of HOPPING MAD, Mark Sheldrake, has spent forty years attending football matches all over Britain. Like all right-minded young lads, he began watching football at Craven Cottage, but early on got a taste for visiting new grounds and has been to matches in places you may never have heard of. His book is a selection of 50 trips to places near and far, some taking in more than one match. It chronicles the highs and lows, the thrills and the pain of the 'ground hopper', and is full of personal anecdotes and descriptive insight. A fascinating read, with many illustrations. Hardback book, 144 pages, 6½" x 9½". To obtain a copy of HOPPING MAD please send a cheque, payable to MARK SHELDRAKE, for £17 (which includes postage) to ASHWATER PRESS, 68 TRANMERE ROAD, WHITTON, TWICKENHAM, MIDDLESEX TW2 7JB.
